| Woman in AA  | Well I'm Officially Ready to Sponsor Someone!
My sponsor and I finished up our step study this evening, ending with 12 of course...and I left her house feeling very confident in everything that i have learned and all that I have grown. She thinks I am ready and I feel like I am totally capable of passing on the good word to another alcoholic! I am a little nervous (i heard this is good!) and very excited, because I never thought I would be at this point. I am not going to rush it, I am coming up on 7 months sober next week and I am going to just keep doing what I am doing and I am going to ask God to send people my way who are in need of help/guidance.

I suggest you get a copy of the AA Official Guideline Questions and Answers on Sponsorship. Many meetings have it on the free literature rack...  Here it is on line however I think having a hard copy is best. Alcoholics Anonymous : Pamphlets The most valuable lesson I learned as a sponsor.... I can't get anyone else drunk or sober. Congratulations.....

well done flyer : ) great news......go get um!! seriously i could not have imagined what a "kick" i was going to get out of taking folk through the work....it is an experience you will not want to miss...... and indeed....its a 12 step program...not 11.... : )

I feel so overjoyed right now, like so peaceful but its overwhelmng and I need to give some of this peace to another person. lol. I have been praying to God to send someone my way.
