| same planet...different world |
hi mmendo - Yes, You're surely right about that! Completeing the steps... it was the first time in my life that I'd met all the requirements of anything. Without fudging, or 'getting by', you know? It truly does instigate change. Good for you too!!! My sponsor told me that I was the first person in ten years she'd sponsored who did all the steps. Don't ya look back now and wonder what we were so afraid of? Good thread!

On of the co-founders believed in reworking the steps, one did not. The one who did not, wrote the book. Presumably, he thought that was taken care of in 10. Just curious ,do you all rework the steps periodically? |

My understanding is that having had a spiritual awakening as a result of the steps, I would carry them to others and thus experience them again during that process. I believe it's semantics, but yes I also believe the 10th step contains inventory, talking with another person, and making amends for harms done. That said, I could see doing another fourth step again. I mean, we can talk as much as we want about clear-cut directions, but I believe everyone has a different approach to this stuff, and that's fine.
