| I'm excited!
Tonight is our local AA's annual campfire meeting, and I am pumped! We've been having it at a nice little fishing lake about 10 miles west of town the last three years, and have always had a nice turnout with several folks from area groups attending. It's a family affair, and often the kids come with their fishing poles. My 21 year old is going to drive me to Wichita to Sam's Club today to pick up supplies since I'm now on crutches and in a cam boot. I'll have to drive myself, klutzy as it will be this evening, to the meeting as she will be gone. One of our fellows brings his gas grill out and cooks up all the burgers, and everyone else brings a covered dish. We decided to have a speaker this year instead of an open AA meeting. I am really looking forward to good food and good fellowship!
