just made final amends...

I just finished my last direct amends on my list..I had been putting it off for about nine months. I was not willing, afraid, kept praying on it. For no reason at all I found myself picking up the phone this morning. This is a family member (my aunt) I hadn't spoken to in about 10 years. Turns out I had made a big deal over nothing. I am going to see her in a couple of weeks.

Funny how the one I thought would be most difficult turned out to be almost nothing at all.

Right on and thanks for sharing this. Now you can truly say that you have a spiritual awakening as the result of the steps. And now you know why the biggest little word in the steps is "all."

Now the trick is to stay current in 10,11, & 12.

That is awesome, I still have some to make, not tough ones at all, but they are due, it has simply been difficult to arrange with them.

I love hearing this stuff. Thanks for sharing it.

Heard someone say that after being finished with step 9, that there isn't a room any where on the planet where we'll find a stomach jumper.

A stomach jumper being that person you see walk in the room and you say "Oh crap ..." as your stomach jumps. lol.

A lot of things are just in our great magnifying mind.
We hold off on making amends to people and we find out, they've forgiven and forgotten.

We make amends mostly for us to make us humble in my opinion unless, there's monetary amends to make.
I see people in the program trying to not make amends and they become a thorn for them. You can't go off and not pay your bills. I was brought up to believe, this was stealing.
