The Best Speaker CD In The History of AA

Okay, there probably is no such thing, but I’d like to know which your favorites are. I’m looking for some new ones. Here is one I’ve been enjoying lately:

XA-Speakers - The lights are on!

I like listening to the old timers that were around when it all took place.

Bill W - Clarence S - Jim B - Dr. Bob - Ebby T

Sister Bea - wonderful message through humor
Joe and Charlie except Joe ( think it was Joe) has passed away. They are fantastic
Clancy

My fave is still Hollis Dodge from Virginia - excellent message, very humorous.

I think I'll try to find his and go have a listen before I go to bed.

Father Tom. He is an incredible speaker.

I have used that site and others for years.

I also have a collection of "Speaker Tapes", many acquired in my early years of Recovery. I think it's over 400. rofl I think I was wee bit obsessive.

However, I STILL listen to them, especially the ones of my sponsor and her husband who are both gone now. The tapes help to quiet THE COMMITTEE and get me rebalanced and focused back on TODAY.

Thanks for posting the site. I think we need to post it every 6 months or so for all the new folks that come to SR. J M H O

Love and hugs,

Wow, great! Thanks all! Already some I haven’t heard here. I’ll have to try to download them.

Laurie, who are some of your favorites? Did you click on the link I posted? The link should lead to a specific speaker CD that I love.

PS. I’ve posted to this great free website before too, and I will again. I think it is a great source for everyone.

Is this him? XA-Speakers - The lights are on!

I typed Mickey Bush in the search box here XA-Speakers - The lights are on! and got several links to a Mickey B's talks. If this is him, is he an alcoholic as well as an addict?

Anything by Don P., Joe H., Mark H., or Clint H.

Tom I. as well, and if you can find anything by Tom B. Jr., I'd recommend him as well.

Tommyh 12-31-2008 02:19 AM

I like Tom I ,Ed M,Don P,Hank J he`s funny as heck with a good message.
I just listened to Jim B yesterday and Hank J.

Tom B jr,Gil Lamb from Muleshoe Tx,Gil`s not on xa speakers.Earl Hightower from Cal,,Norm A. from Cal is a great oldie too.
in the 60`s there was Tom Shipp from Tx who spoke a lot at Blackstone,Va.He`s inspirational sometimes.

Like Laurie,I have hundreds of tapes here.I am slowly in the process of transferring them to cd
