The Convention Features: Sobriety Count Down, Around the Clock AA Marathon meetings, Friday and Saturday Night Dances, Saturday Banquet Meeting Dinner, Spanish Speaker Brunch, Alanon Luncheon, a Golf Tournament, a Fishing Tournament, 5/10k Run-Walk, a Motorcycle Poker Ride and a Bowling Tournament.

The Southern California Convention is the Grand Daddy of AA conventions in Southern California. It was brought into existence to fulfill an important need for the members of Alcoholics Anonymous long before the current explosion of AA conventions. The Southern California Convention has continued to provide that service for over half a century.

This is a REALLY GOOD CONVENTION!!!!!!

It's been around a long time. Back in the '80's both my sponsor and her husband were speakers at this convention different years.

Before I moved away I went every year and managed a few while I was living in Nevada also.

Anyone of the SR members that are in California, if you can, try and make it, you won't regret it, I promise.
