| What an Inspiration! Congratulations! carol87, I hope you will come on here and share with us how you did it! As you know, there are so many out there who struggle to make it through a single day . . . never truly believing that people can and do change their lives forever! | Recovery-wise, it was a great day ... 21 years ago I would not have dreamed that I would be where I'm at now ... I resisted doing what I needed to do for a very long time. I was miserable on a dry drunk until I finally surrendered. Once I gave in and got a sponsor and LISTENED TO HER and started working the steps, my life started changing ... thanks to the program of AA AND, most importantly, my Higher Power ... whom I choose to call God ... So ... do I have anything to complain about? NO!! Inconveniences ... YES! Do I have the tools to conquer them ... ODAAT ... Absolutely!
