| I've just clicked I read this the other day and couldn't figure out what it meant. Am I right in assuming that when we behave in the ways mentioned on the list, we can deny an alcoholic the chance to get sober? Hope this is what is being said. And if so I will also add self rightgeousness (excuse the spelling if bad), if it is not already there. ![]() |

| Good point Fraankie; the positive is rarely highlighted. These defects or shortcomings are the roadblocks to a new life. It is not enough to list them in a 4th, share them in a 5th, become ready to have God remove these in the 6th Step, humbly ask Him in the 7th; one must continue to inventory as suggested in the 10th Step with resolute action. In my experience, I am responsible for making the change necessary to rid myself of these glaring handicaps. |
