Tiberon, It all comes down to you and God. When you are ready, God is available.

Tib, I can so relate. I also have depression. I take Celexa but truly, I did not feel that it worked at all when I was drinking. Maybe it is psychological?? Anyway, all I can say is that when I felt the way you are describing, sometimes the only thing that kept me from drinking was begging for help from my HP. Do you have one? If not, you could borrow mine |

Tib my heart goes out to you as you struggle, you can lick this, be willing to explore all avenues, follow the suggestions in AA and work with a physchartrist (SP) for the depression. I was lucky as far as depression went, mine finally started to go away after I had been sober for about 3 months and basically dissappeared after I had worked through the steps at about 9 months. That is not to say that your time line will be the same as mine. I have heard more then one person share that they could not stay sober long enough to get through the steps until they were put on AD by thier doctor. SOme of those same people came off the meds after some time, others did not. Tib just be williing to do what ever it takes to stay sober. Be willing to call someone BEFORE you drink, I sure did and so have many others, it is better to ask for help then to get drunk in the long run.
