Thanks But I'm confused I went to the website and the calendar seems to indicate the retreat is for men with gambling addictions. Did I miss something? I'd be interested in going if this is an AA thing.

it started as a GA retreat about 30 years ago but hey, it's GA, AA, NA, as long as you don't see the DA lol seriously, it's a spiritual weekend but yes, a men's retreat and many, as myself, have been attending thurout their recovery if you check the calendar there is a program for women it's a wondeerful weekend of spirituality quiet, serene, friendly, soul cleansing, inner focus beautiful dining room, grounds, rooms, religious artifacts, etc groups, focus lectures, confession, healing mass, rosary walk, spiritual consultaion you can attend what you wish interesting history Mr. and Mrs. Brady built the mansion with a religious theme chapels, staions of the cross, etc they were very much involved with the church as vicars or such and the Pope even visited in the 1930's after Mr. Brady passed away his wife donated the property to the church and moved to serve at vatican city it was a monastery, etc and now serves as a sanctuary for many as per website the grounds are always open and i've gone there occasionally to sit in the gardens best frankie |
