| Thanks for being here
I just wanted to express my deepest gratitude for all of you here. Every one of you have touched me in some way and at the very least, have helped me to deepen my understanding of sobriety and the hope of a new life. My Father passed away Friday, finally letting go of this world after a long and difficult illness. I was there with my Sister and my Mother when he left us. He would always say when someone died, "Dont be sad, they are beginning a new and wonderful adventure!". Being able to visit here has been for me a touchstone of sorts, helping me to stay grounded. May God bless everyone here! Ted |

Ted Sorry for your loss. And I'm glad you are here. A few days before coming here, I learned that my very healthy mother has terminal cancer. She has but months to live. As sentient as a 20 year old, she is happily living in the moment. She continues to exercise, eat well, and enjoy life. She is totally at peace. She is an inspiration to me. Puts my issues in perspective. At age 60, I want to grow up like my Momma. warren |

| My heart goes out to you both... I understand what you are going through after experiencing similar circumstances this past year with my mother's illness and subsequent death. I, too, know how we should stay in the moment, let go when the time draws near, and how difficult that really is to put into practice. My only suggestion is to "own" your grief and try not to stuff it. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time...
