| Respond with the Traditions
When AA members encounter questions of why, what, how and when concerning AA outside of the drink question, answer with the Traditions. There is no reason to reinvent the wheel, the foundation of our Fellowship sits squarely on the rock of Twelve Traditions. The detractors need only hear our solidarity. Principles that have sustained our fellowship for 70 years have also survived the enormous egos and manipulations of millions. If you are not sure of an answer, why expose your ignorance, learn the principles that make our Traditions the basis for the miracle of every new life.
