| The most important word
We've all heard this read hundreds of times at meetings. "Remember, we deal with alcohol. Cunning, powerful, baffling". Now, what (in your opinion) is the most important word in that sentence ? (Scroll down for answer) Remember

In my opinion the answer is WE because I had enough failures at the ME method. I found in interesting that the first step begins with WE, not you or I but WE, and I believe that is how it works. Today the WE is someone (a sponsor) helping me understand. Someday WE will be me (a sponsor) helping someone else understand.

Step 1- Title Page to the last sentence on page 43. The first step is layed out wonderfully there.

All of the words are important, but I fall into the same camp as Dan, the important word is "we". "I" could not remember, "we" can. In reality they are all important, and does it really matter which one we as individuals find the most important? GP I am just stirring the pot!!! LOL

baffling.... I grow more and more appreciative of the choice to use this word in reference to alcohol and to my powers of mind before and after drinking. "baffling" is exactly how my life used to be. I was a waste. in sobriety, I am of usefule service.
