| 30 days today
Well I did it. And I told them. After They said hey, don't you got something to say? I said How do you know I didn't whoop it up last night on Saint Pats day. They said cause you are here. Sigh! They were right. So I rolled my eyes and said I had 30 days. They laughed. Then I some guy spoke up. He had been going every day and said he hadn't even had 24 hours but likes birthday and likes going to meetings. He was glad I had one. I kinda felt good and bad. Then I told them I felt like him only not drinking. I like going to the meetings but everything else was like the Charlie Brown teacher Whomp whomp whomp whomp whomp. I said that me and him were the same. We both like the meetings only he drank and I didn't and I just wasn't understanding anything yet. And they talked to me and him and we both walked out. I think he felt pretty good I feel okay. they said I was feeling like they all did in 30 days. Like What the "F" but just keep going. And they told him to keep going too. So I guess I will. I'm going to an all Female meeting today. 30 days. I feel stupid, like celebrating (bad debbie) and like stuffing my face like a pig. Sigh! But I will go to the meeting tonight. Thanks for listening. |

LL food was a good deal for me at 30 days, especially chocolate!!!!! It seemed to be the only thing that made me feel good except a meeting! Like you they told me to keep coming back, it will get better! Well I kept going back, I worked the steps with my sponsor, today I love life, I am at peace with the world, it has been 1 1/2 years today since my last drink (547 days) LOL Do things still go wrong in my life today? You bet they do, but nothing like when I was drinking, and because I am sober I am able to deal with them rather then getting drunk to try and make them go away.
