It wouldn't be right to tell the secret. The secret being that if I pay attention to the primary purpose, I stay sober. I tell people all the time that of all the guys I've sponsored, I have a success rate of 100%. I'm still sober!! I haven't a clue what many of those guys are going these days, but I know I'm still sober, and that's all that counts. Whether they're sober or not is none of my business.

I can answer that question Rufus. Always and forever!! The minute your recovery becomes more important than mine, I'm dead! Anytime you or anyone else wants to take that next drink, I'll buy the first one, but don't expect me to stick around and watch what happens.
