Here's one for you:
Step 10
"Continued to take personal inventory and when we were wrong partly admitted it."

That is the step that I am currently on right now with my sponsor. When I read the description of the 10th step in the Big Book, it reminded me of what me mother used to say when I was a child. When I would let my room get a mess and my mom used to force me to clean it, and clean it thoroughly. She would make sure I folded my laundry and put it away, vacuum, dust, etc. When I was done, she would say, "Now you know Tom if you KEEP your room clean, you won't have to spend all this time and frustration having to clean it all up again like you just did."

To me that's the 10th step. Keep your room clean!!! If you have a resentment, (a dirty shirt thrown on the floor), pick up the shirt and put it in the hamper. AKA take care of your resentment so it isn't the beginning of a pile of dirty laundry. If you keep your room clean by taking a personal inventory you continue a healthy life of recovery.

Because who wants to relapse, and have to clean your disastrous room all over again???

Did anyone follow any of this??? LMAO!

Tom
