*~*~*~*~*^Daily Reflections^*~*~*~*~* WE FORGIVE Often it was while working on this Step with our sponsors or spiritual advisers that we first felt truly able to forgive others, no matter how deeply we felt they had wronged us. Our moral inventory had persuaded us that all-round forgiveness was desirable, but it was only when we resolutely tackled Step Five that we inwardly knew we'd be able to receive forgiveness and give it, too. TWELVE STEPS AND TWELVE TRADITIONS, p. 58 What a great feeling forgiveness is! What a revelation about my emotional, psychological and spiritual nature. All it takes is willingness to forgive; God will do the rest. ©Copyright 1990 ALCOHOLICS ANONYMOUS WORLD SERVICES, INC.©

Man I have really worked on trying to forgive some folks. Thank the heavens that I found this site when I did, it helped me so much, and I did the work, and now I am at the point of forgiveness, thank God. I am so glad, it's been a long time coming...I wrote and wrote and wrote and I prayed and prayed and prayed. There is still fallout from it but I thank God that AA gave me the tools to move into forgiveness instead of seeking revenge. Free at last, free at last, free at last.
