Thanks to AA...

Thanks to AA...I am celebrating 16 years of continuous sobriety. I am so beyond amazed...my life is so much better than I could've ever imagined it.

Blessings all; just wanted to share my miracle,

Many people have helped me immensely. I came to this site when I was 13 years sober and in so much physical, emotional and spiritual pain. There are a few people here who truly reached out and went the extra mile for me.

There are only 2 of them left here on this site: Laurie and Music. Thank God for both of you. Had you not been part of my life, I can't be sure I would've been here celebrating life and sobriety today. Both of you were there for me through the long months of pain and growth I went through. You both have my eternal gratitude; as does my HP, my family, my sponsors and the rest of my AA family.

Today, I truly am celebrating my life and my sobriety. I have been at the edge of life (even in sobriety) and my life today; well, there just is no comparison.

Thank you everyone, and blessings to you all. Thanks for all the support,
Jen

Thanks for sharing that Jen, I love your gratitude list. I have heard it said many times in the room that keeping a written gratitude list that one reviews daily is a big help when one is down in the dumps.

Thanks again Jen, I just finished something I have been meaning to do for a long while, I wrote down a gratitude list on a 3X5 card and stuck it in my pocket.

Well as I typed the above I realized I left of a name...... Jen! Thanks again.

Congrats on your 16. You helped me early on in my own sobriety here and I appreciate it.
