Help! Trying to find a meeting!!!

Actually I'm not in a 911 mode for locating a meeting, but I do need a little help. I'm going out of town for my job for two days, and I'm really having trouble trying to find a meeting in the area where I'll will be staying. I tried the offical A.A. website to locate a meeting and had no luck. I will be staying in LONDON OHIO. Does anyone either...

A: Know where there is a meeting in London Ohio???

or

B: Know a site and/or phonelist where I would be able to find info on a meeting somewhat close to the area where I will be staying.


Your help would be MUCH appreicated!!!

I suggest calling your local Intergroup. They will have a directory for meetings in the entire US and Canada.

Another thing, as soon as you get there grab the phone books and look up AA. Call them, tell them you're in town and want to hit some meetings. They will be more than happy to tell you where and when and how to get there. I did this and ended up getting lost. I called back and the sweetest lady stood outside looking for me and flagged me in. After the meeting she took me for a ride and showed me the main highways in town so I'd have a clue how to get around. She even kept the 13th steppers off of me ROFLMAO!!!

I tell you, I can't think of another fellowship where you can walk in not knowing a soul and feel at home because you all share a common bond. Also, I take comfort in hearing the preamble and how it works cause that is universal as well.
