A member of our Thursday night meeting has gone to jail. This is a part of his amends, for something he did prior to finding sobriety. This guy is REALLY working his program, and could be an AA poster child.

I don't know the specifics, but he was finally sentenced to 6 months in jail. He left Dec 29th, with a smile on his face and a great attitude. He expected to be in at least 4 of the 6 months because of good time.

He walked into a meeting last night, after 37 days !!!!! Talk about Friends in High places !

I'm still reeling.

Wow, I don't think many would have to courage to do what he did.

I sit next to a guy on Thursday night that did almost 20 for murder, you would never dream it to see or speak with him, he is beyond serene and has his act together, he does not share often but when he does we all listen.

Hey Taz.

We have a guy Sundays that did 6 years in the State Pen. Same with him, serene as all get out. And, of course, grateful.
