Detoxing was the EASY part for me. I'm not saying it was a piece of cake, but it was no worse than a prolonged hangover(I've lived through many  The hard part for me was that my mind had a million reasons why I should drink...bad day, good day, rainy day, "your not an alcoholic"... Drinking caused nothing but hopelessness. There is NO reason why I should drink. Thank goodness for AA. My mind is put to much better use helping other people and working a full program. Jenn
