3rd Step !!!!

Yey me ! I took the 3rd step today and am starting my inventory. I am sooooo looking forward to getting all of that junk out in the open and behind me.

I thank God for getting me this far.

With that attitude the consciousness of your belief is sure to come to you.

Don't listen to the majority who will tell you what ordeal the inventory is and how hard it is. And don't worry about "doing it right." Just do it. Hopefully it will become a lifetime practice and more will be revealed as you become more fit to see it. Stuff was revealed to me at seven years of sobriety that would have taken me out at a year.

"Self-examination is morbid introspection or self-condemnation. It is an honest and fearless confrontation of the self and it's abandonment in trust to God."
-Kenneth Leech

Find out what you are not and what you are shows up. God will be revealed to you as you reveal yourself to you.

Glassprisoner that is great, keep it up, I am hoping to have the first step knocked out within the week. I just really started on it Monday with my new sponsor, but have mentally done it on my own many times over the last 2 1/2 months.

Thumbs up way to go

Lack of power is my valuable possession. The power in step three is the just what the doctor ordered. That's right, get fired up and move foward.
