Exclamation Hope

Just want to share that I witnessed first hand the hope that flows in the program ... I was at my home group meeting this morning where a total of 7 sobriety chips were handed out ... for 7, 20, 22, 20, 21, 21, 22 years of sobriety. That, combined with four other announced sobriety anniversaries of 30 days, 10 months, 23 years and 23 years, was a total of 179 years, 11 months of recognized sobriety ... out of a room of at least 85 people.

If you are new or just simply struggling, hang in there ... if you continue to trudge the road of happy destiny, there is so much HOPE for a new and better life. The PROGRAM WORKS IF YOU WORK IT!!

yeah,
that is so cool
i used to do that
go to groups
with a lot of old timers
and
like, wow
there's a hundred years of recovery here

i knew J.T.
he had about 20 years
and
his girlfriend had about 15 years
but
then
her mother, her mother's friend, her sister, and her brother in law
were in the program
so i used to kid J.T.
a family dinner was a hundred years of recovery at the table
he got a laugh out of it

it's a bummer
some just don't get the experience you witnessed

best
