Meeting Chairpersons Needed! - SoberRecovery : Alcoholism Drug Addiction Help and Information

As you may know, I am the Mod of the Chat and Online Meetings forum. It is my personal belief that having daily online meetings here is a very important part of the SR menu of recovery offered here. It helps people in dire need and it builds community.

Meetings have fallen off a bit due to the Summer vacations, and now that summer is over, we are in need of chairpersons. Currently we need chairpersons either on the alcoholic/addict or anon/codependency sides for evenings -

Monday
Wednesday
Thursday
Friday
Saturday
Sunday

(You pick the time most convenient for you. Meetings follow the 12-step format. Training and support are provided.)

Do you have 6+ months of recovery? Are you willing to be consistent in your commitment to service? If so, I ask you to consider whether you can take on a meeting for us. The strength of your recovery would shine and you chairing for us would, I sincerely believe, be an inspiration to new comers as well as those of us with some time under our belts.

We need chairpersons for every day of the week except Tuesday. If you have 6+ months of recovery and are willing to be of service, please PM me.
