"This is Us" New Family Drama on TV
So. Anyone watching this new show? Better catch up as the 'triplets' in the show are all ACOA.
The show flips between seeing the parents raise the kids to the kids being adults. You've got a perfectionist/saver/overachiever, probably a food addict, and a people-pleaser. I don't think the critics have figured it out as the addiction is just hinted at thus far, but it is pretty ingenious.

Big fan. I had to giggle at "probably a food addict." - Uh, yeah.
Well-written and the hooks with how they flash back and forth are great. Was trying to save it to start watching with my bf (also in recovery) but went ahead and watched the episodes OnDemand. I look forward to rewatching and to the upcoming ones. I also vote for it to be a continuing Thu night hit! With the territory of alcoholism that HTGAWM is heading into, this is (so far) a much better story.
