Well....

I have been recovering for a long time now, about 16 years.

It sounds like you are doing much better than you were, but it also sounds like you are just changing your addictions. You should be very proud that you have kicked coke, but it sounds like you have just substituted pot.

For me, you are either sober, or you are not. Once again, I think you need to focus on getting sober. As the saying goes, you need to change people places and things. Have you?

As for the medication, I take effexor, but that has only been for the last six months or so. It appears that I got sober and then got depression. Oh well.

We all have or battles. These are the cards you have been dealt.

Getting high is a choice.
