the only time I took trazadone was in the hospital to help me sleep...and it could have easily killed me. It knocked me out cold (and I later learned I had sleep apnea and it's potentially deadly to take strong sleeping meds)..and then next morning I had the worst hangover of my life (from lack of oxygen during the night I suppose).

But I've known others who swear by it and don't have problems with it.

You could also look at trying a different anti-d. Effexor and Wellbutrin also help with anxiety, I believe.
