Thank you very much.
No great advice, just KEEP TRUDGIN, like my signature says especially when you trudgin thru alligators up to your butt.
You know for a long time I thought all those 'sayings' on the walls of the meeting rooms were pretty "corny." However, I have found they are so true.
Like "No Matter What, DON'T DRINK." That one says it all.
And Low and Behold, the bad times pass, I find another stressful situation that I have worked and walked through, not run away from. Wow, it amazes me as much as anybody else.
I was suppose to be dead at 30. Doctors gave my husband and my parents no hope at all. I sure proved them wrong, roflmao. Didn't even get sober until 3 weeks shy of my 36th birthday. In sobriety, I learned how to change my stubborness from a defect into an asset of tenacity.
Every one of you can do it, One Day At A Time. Carol D is a beautiful example of that. She too has been to H*ll and back sober, and look at the Wisdom, care, and compassion that comes out of her fingertips. That my friends comes from working a program of recovery, be it AA or something else.
May the difference in our sobriety dates remain the same.
Love and hugs,
