Hey Lucky,

This is such a personal choice...but everyone has an opinion, so I will gladly give mine...
If what you have been doing isn't working- which seems obvious, you are certain to lose more than a job and your dog...I know it seems so unfair and unreal, but you have to do what you have to do to LIVE... if long-term treatment is an option that you feel will help, I think it is worth it. Do you know anyone who can take the dog?
As far as the job- you are bound to get better once sober...
Please do what NEEDS to be done...not what you WANT...
