I too have had different experiences with wellbutrin/zyban. (they are the same thing; zyban is marketed for smoke cessation though.)
It does have a known side effect for some people. Some people become aggitated or wired on it. I was taking only one, except when I quit smoking. Then, I took two. But, it did indeed make me hyper.
