I take Wellbutrin and love it. I had taken it in the past and noticed that it made me into a b*tch because when on it I was less likely to hold feelings in and more likely to say what I thought. I don't know what is different now from back then but today it just makes me feel "normal". I don't feel angry. I don't really feel anything. I've taken meds in the past that made me feel like a robot or zombie and I would quit taking them. I don't feel that way on Wellbutrin at all. As for the weight thing, I haven't lost or gained while taking it.
To each his own and each person's experience is going to be different. If Celexa was working well for you but you think the weight gain was associated with it, is there a similar drug in the same family that might work just as well on the depression without the weight issues? Just a thought.
