Speaking of wires, my cat used to have a electrical chord chewing problem. Luckily she never caused a fire or electricuted herself, but she did cost me a new computer monitor. She chewed all the way through the monitor chord and when I took the computer in to be repaired the guy at the store told me that they could fix the chord, but for what it would cost me I would be better off replacing the monitor. She chewed up a phone line, chewed a hole through an ice bag I used to use for bad headaches, chewed on part of my cell phone, and chewed a hole in a pair of one of my mom's shoes when she was visiting once. Now I just spray bitter apple on all of my electrical chords and supervise her better around everything else. Cats are alot like perpetual 2 years olds though, in that they can be very mischeivious and you really have to watch them as they can get into alot of trouble.
