I have had good long term success with Neurontin which unlike Depakote does not play hell with your liver. It also does not have the side effects of Lithium.

As for sex drive, what can I say? I had to choose between insanity with a sex drive or sanity with an infrequent sex drive. Not the greatest choice but the only one available to me at this moment.
