And being an addict means finding freedom to make choices in our lives not handing all our troubles and sorrows over to drugs, alcohol, food, relationships, but being secure in the knowledge that we are always free, to choose that is and it is when we stop making decisions for ourselves that we become prisoners, not of cruel leaders and rulers, but of our own stinking thinking.
