Hi,
My hubby cannot tolerate caffiene at all-it affects his mood in a bad way for about 2-3 days after having any, so he drinks herbal teas and cranberry juice (without sugar) alot. I do know that eating alot of fresh brightly colored veggies and fruits will help- not just for the headaches and cravings but for energy. Frozen is the next best- We make smoothies in our blender with- frozen blackberries, bananas- and whatever we feel like tossing in there- milk, yogurt, soy milk or ice. I have one or two cups of tea a day and that doesn't seem to be a problem - I suffer from fatigue so it jump starts my day. I used to be a coffeholic- craving it constantly- and colas too. Now I may have a cup or two of java if out to a restaurant for breakfast and I halve it with milk. We used to drink a coffee substitute called Postum- have you heard of it? I forget what's in it- it's like an instant coffee drink- supposedly been around for many years.
good luck and "cheers"
