I can only share what worked for me , I rang AA, on just such a day. I was amazed that the person who answered the phone did not sound shocked at all, but knew exactly how I was feeling. I arranged to go to myfirst meeting, andhere I am 27 months sober.
it has not been easy by any means, but I have had wonderful support from my friends in AA, and have done everthing they suggested .
Why not give it a try? Nothing to lose
