I'm grateful for...

I'm grateful for Jesus C., my Hero, who continues to break the chains of pain and addiction off of my life and who never ceases to amaze me with His unconditional love and grace that I'm so undeserving of.

Not a day goes by that I don't fall on my knees and give thanks for Him and what He's done and continues to work in my life.

I'm grateful for 10-1/2 years abstinence and for nearly 14 years nicotene free (late Feb).

Again, it's only been by His grace that I've been able to have these monumental victories because there's no way that I couldn't have done it in my own strength.

I'm grateful for the blessing of the wise counsel of confidants, close friends and pastors who have listened to so much of my crap over the years and yet still offer their support, prayers and encouragement

This continues to amaze me every day. To know and be known are such keys to recovery. I continue to know that these dear ones are priceless treasures and gifts in my life. A burden shared is lightened; a victory shared is multiplied. I love how He does math!

I'm grateful for the gift of being able to make amends with those I never thought I would ever carry on a decent conversation with again.

I'm still grateful for this even in the midst of pain and mistakes made. That we're able to still come back to the table and negotiate again despite this is a priceless treasure that I wish we could've known 15 years ago, when it might've been able to salvage the wreckage that was "B & N"
