Hi Michael!
Try not to be *too* discouraged. In the grand scheme o' things, 2 weeks isn't long enough to "feel" the helpful effects yet. Psych meds usually take 4-6 weeks before their effect is really noticeable. They're not a "quick fix" - a fact that I find seriously annoying at times!
Hang in there and CALL the doc if it's getting too unbearable!!
