I know how worried you must be. It is so frustrating when things go wrong and you can't reach the doctor. Doesn't the doctor have someone on call while he is gone?
I work with people who have bipolar with delusions. I know they truely can't help it. It just breaks my heart at times to watch what they go through.
I'll bet your husband will be just fine and return home soon. I am a real worrier, but I try to refocus on anything else when I know it's out of my control.
Please try to get some rest and maybe he'll go into the hospital again when he gets home. Did you try calling the hospital? Maybe he went on his own.
