I was driving home from work today and noticed how dark it was at 6 p.m. and remembered BlueMoon saying...

Today (the 21st) is the shortest day of the year!
Today is the Winter Solstice!

What does that mean? BlueMoon has a wonderful insight into realizing that this is the darkest day of the year and things will only get brighter from this day on.
