I think you should wait and talk with your landlord. If the manager actually tells him you are wanting to talk with him. If youstill find him telling you no, then is this new apartment worth bailing on the old? It sounds like it is, I hope things work out for you. I was in the same situation before, and I bailed. I had six months left on the lease and ended up paying $1200 it sucked, but was soooooooooo worth it!
