couple of things...

Here's a thread that lists some symptoms and how to counter-act things like distractablility and such
http://www.soberrecovery.com/forums/...dhd-74274.html

One thing I've read is that it's a good idea to record lectures at school with a mini-tape recorder so you can go back and "hear" the things you missed when you were listening.

www.nami.org has an online community and one forum is devoted strictly to ADD/ADHD discussions and info. You might can access it by this link http://www.nami.org/Template.cfm?Sec...rity/Login.cfm
but you have to get a user I.D. just like you did for here (no cost or anything)

And here's a good site too http://www.addresources.org/articles.php
it has lots of ADD/ADHD articles - a whole page full of links to articles so there's TON's of topics to read up on if you want.

It's great that you're wanting to learn more about it....I think that's the best tool personally is knowledge and understanding.

good luck. (((welcome))) to the mental health forum of SR and hugs,

Jenna
