Watching my daughters sad face everytime I fetched beer home :(

Many a night I would glance over to my 14 year old daughter and catch her looking at me, then quickly look away from me. It was Tuesday night I went to my room and hid my drink to give her the impression I wasn't having a drink tonight. She was looking around my room casually saying hello to me. I knew she was looking for my drink. That was the night I told myself enough was enough, it would be my last night drinking. She came into my room last night and saw me eating sweets and eating ice lollies, she smiled at me and said "I love you mummy" it brought tears to my eyes. She didnt mention if I was drinking, she just knew. My daughter is more important than me getting a kick out of alcohol every night. I vow for the love of my daughter to not touch alcohol again like I have been doing for the last 6 years. Its now time to be her mummy again.
