No Dremygirl it's not called "love" its called "ENABLING."
If your husband wants recovery, he MUST do this himself, from picking up the phone to call AA or NA to find meetings to web surfing and asking around to find "inpatient" or "outpatient" rehab.
This is really the first step for someone who "wants" recovery. If any of these things are done for them, it is the "easier, softer way" and the chances are less of the person succeeding in recovery.
I know, I have been there both as a recovering alcoholic with 24+ of sobriety now, and 21+ years in alanon as I have had and have practicing alkies/addicts in my life also.
