I don't mind at all, and no I'm not, but I love the spiritual practices and ceremonies of these people. My ancestry is Anglo mix, Welsh, Scottish and Irish which is probably the side I inherited my red hair from.

My friend Phil, who I just welcomed above and who may join here very soon, is an Ojibway friend from my old home group who I hadn't seen in a few years until recently, quite by accident. Phil made me a dreamcatcher when I left Toronto, as he knows I have problems with nightmares, and I have it still. Phil taught me many things about the native culture and practices and that is when my interest sent me on a search for more, and the more I find the more I search for even more. I find great peace in nature, and feel very spiritually connected when I read their prayers. I think because their beliefs and practices are very uncomplicated, just us and the earth and water and sky, and really bring me back to basics. I also believe that their Great Spirit and my God are one and the same Higher Power.

Guess I answered more than you asked, LOL. I'm glad you enjoy these. I have posted quite a few Native American prayers on the Spiritual Thoughts thread also.

Hugs
Ann
