Gabe - Brilliant thread. I know that I have resorted to creating drama in the past for all sorts of reasons, one of which I recognise as getting my partner's attention. When my partner(s) were emotionally unavailable, at least they were focussed on me even if we were fighting.
The problem I am dealing with at the moment is that I am still in a business partnership with my ex Ab/f and he just LOVES to create drama. Out of nothing. I think it makes him feel alive. It is emotionally exhausting to deal with. Thank goodness I have my toolbox close to hand.
