Thanks for the correction eddie - the correct spelling is Dosulepin, also known (in the UK at least) as Dothiepin and Prothiaden. Actually, I don't think an exact equivalent does exist in the US as I lived there for a year while on it and had to bring several boxes with me! But it's basically one of the older tricyclic type antidepressants, like Elavil or Norpramin. I have also been on Citalopram (an SSRI) in the past and used Dothiepin to help me off it, but in turn that has become impossible to wean off in its own right...aagh! I know people's reactions to these things vary enormously but still, I think comparing notes would be helpful so thanks for your message.
