You got some great feedback above, I hope you can read it carefully with an open heart.
My understanding of anorexia is that there is a link to feeling like we need to be perfect for our families but we don't feel like we can ever measure up. And it usually doesn't have anything to with weight at all! But that is something we feel we can control, and the other "imperfections" seem uncontrollable or out of our reach.
Does that sound familiar to you?
My question for you is: Do YOU think this is a good time to go home? Never mind what parents think, hubby thinks, etc. Do you want to go? If you are feeling like you have to hurt yourself (and make no mistake, starving is hurting yourself) maybe this isn't a good time to go.
I'm praying for you and sending you hugs. You deserve good things and love from the people around you, and you don't have to be around people who are toxic or poisonous to your inner self. And you deserve love from yourself, too! You are worth it!
