Each morning I wake up and ask my HP to help me keep my sobriety as my #1 priority for the day. Sometimes I am open to taking that help, sometimes I shut my spirit off and put other things first...when I do that, my sobriety/recovery suffers. I have been blessed to not drink or drug for over 9 years now. Some days are harder than others, but each day I ask God to help, because I believe He can do for me what I cannot do for myself.
If you are telling me that we can't stay sober, than I feel bad for you. And if you don't believe in God, that is okay, all that matters to me is that it works for me.
