HI

I'm new here too and bipolar. I have never heard of the drug but Im from the UK and it seems treatment over here works a little differently. When I was younger I was prescribed an anti convusant in conjuntion with an anti depressant. It didnt really work for me and Im now on lithium which is really effective but can be quite difficult to stick with. I hope you find the thing that works for you. I have heard that some manic depressives contrle the illness through diet. I dont know the details of this and probably wouldnt advise even trying it but would be interested to hear any info anyone has on that one. I think it is important to find a doctor that will explain the details ofwhat he/she is prescibing you if at all possible.
